On the 4th matchday, our U19 was allowed to receive the guests from Garching. After two wins from three games, the next victory should now follow in order to continue to be part of the top group of the still very young season. With two changes from the previous week in the 2-0 derby win at SB Rosenheim, the DFI team started the game. Kanata Yokohama and Shubh Kataria replaced Lukas Dolenga as well as Mohammed Massawa. From the beginning, they left the ball to the opponent from Garching, who didn’t really know what to do with it. Through a good midfield pressing, the guys from DFI came again and again to ball conquests, which, however, could not be exploited. After six minutes, the home team recognized the weaknesses of the guests and repeatedly created dangerous scoring opportunities through long balls. This was also the case in the 15th minute of play, after a ball was won by Bohlale Mashilwane, who played the ball down the half-left to Rejan Kryezi, who cleverly loaded the goalkeeper to make it 1-0 for the home team. Very strong and clever goal! With the lead behind them, they now had a better grip on the game, ran the ball well in their own ranks and repeatedly created scoring opportunities through long balls. Before the break, they should have even increased to 2:0. After a long ball to Valton Avdullahi, the latter lofted over the goalkeeper, but the ball went just past the goal. In the 38th minute then a small shock… Rejan Kryezi knelt in a duel and had to be replaced due to injury. The injured Kryezi was replaced by Illia Pavlenko. So it went into halftime with a score of 1:0. For the second half, Lukas Dolenga replaced Shubh Kataria at right-back, who did a decent job in a difficult match. Unnecessary ball losses repeatedly invited the opponent to dangerous chances and thus kept the game unnecessarily exciting. Now it was a game of equals with chances on both sides. After a great pass into the depth Tofiq Mahamed failed and pushed the ball alone in front of the keeper left of the box. Then in the 70th minute Endrit Sllamniku, replaced Abhishek Kevadiya. Ten minutes later, the team hoped for a new offensive impetus through Poonyaphon Chuangchaisukasem, who came on for Tofiq Mahamed. The guests from Garching now pressed the home team in the back again and again, but did not create any clear scoring chances. Shortly before the end, Stefan Mühlauer came into the game for Illia Pavlenko. The last action in the game belonged to the guests. A standard from a half-right position sailed into the penalty area, but keeper Oleksandr Titov managed to defuse it and bury it under him. Our keeper and IV’s should be highlighted, they give our team immense strength in defense. In 4 games only 1 goal conceded, by an 11 meter, can be quite respectable. Next week we go to Milbertshofen, who are second to last after three games with zero points. Kickoff for the game is at 11:00 a.m. in Milbertshofen.
